Setting up an update repository for Talend Studio and Continuous Integration
Qlik provides the following ways to configure an update repository, also called p2 repository, before installing updates, namely the patch zips assigned to you, and feature packages in Talend Studio or building your project artifacts using Continuous Integration.
- Use the official Talend
repository directly, for example
https://update.talend.com/Studio/8/updates/latest for the
latest Talend Studio
monthly update and feature packages.
For more information about the URL of the official repository for each Talend Studio monthly update, see Talend Release Notes.
- Use a proxy repository that links to the official Talend
repository (recommended)
For more information, see Setting up an update repository by creating a proxy repository.
- Use a repository that hosts the official Talend
repository
For more information, see Setting up an update repository by hosting it.
For more information about how to configure the update URL for the update repository in Talend Studio, see Configuring update repositories.
For more information about how to configure the -Dtalend.studio.p2.update parameter for the p2 repository when using Continuous Integration, see Building and Deploying.
For more information about how to update Talend Studio, see Updating Talend Studio 8.0.
