Installing Talend modules using Talend Installer Custom installation mode

The Custom installation mode is a customizable installation method of Talend Installer. Use this mode to choose what to install, where, and how. This way, you can fully customize your installation and choose, for example, to install Talend Administration Center on one machine and Talend Runtime on another.

The following modules are available in Custom installation mode:

Talend Identity and Access Management
Talend Data Stewardship

Talend Runtime
Talend JobServer
Talend Data Preparation
Talend SAP RFC Server

Talend ESB
Talend Server Services

The following table lists the details you can configure for each module.

Talend Administration Center	Tomcat instance to use Administrator username and password Enable external Single Sign-On (SSO) Database Port Web application directory
Talend Identity and Access Management	Talend Administration Center connection parameters Talend Identity and Access Management parameters such as IAM host name, OIDC, and SCIM ports Use a fully qualified domain name when configuring values for IAM host name and Post-logout redirection URL to Talend Data Stewardship and Talend Data Preparation. Language (English, French, Japanese, or Chinese) The selected language is used for Talend Identity and Access Management, Talend Data Stewardship, Talend Data Preparation and Talend Dictionary Service.
Talend Data Stewardship	Talend Data Stewardship ports: Gateway service port, History service port, Schema service port, Core service port, Monitoring service port, and Frontend service port Language (English, French, Japanese, or Chinese) The selected language is used for Talend Data Stewardship, Talend Data Preparation and Talend Dictionary Service. MongoDB database connection If you want to secure connections with MongoDB using SSL, MongoDB Enterprise Server must be manually installed on your machine. For more information, see MongoDB Security documentation. Kafka and ZooKeeper connection parameters Talend Identity and Access Management parameters Use a fully qualified domain name when configuring IAM URL.
