Promoting data models across environments

The best practice when using your application is to set up one instance for each environment of your production chain and export/import the data models in the project across environments.

You can promote data models only between identical Talend product versions. You can also promote the same data model in different subsequent minor releases of a specific version without having to recreate it from scratch.
