Prepare graphical interface: Designer
Click into Designer for a blank dataflow canvas and functionality to build a new dataflow. Select the pencil in the upper-right of the graph to save a Name and Description.

The dataflow can be saved at any point in the design. Make sure to save it before navigating away from Designer or unsaved changes will be lost.
