Publishing the Job to Talend Management Console

Publish the sample Job created in Talend Studio to the cloud and make it available to specific or all users of Talend Management Console.

About this task

Once your Job is published, web users can run the Job as it is in Talend Management Console, or change the parameters and execute the task on different instances.

Procedure

In the Repository tree view, right-click the Job and select Publish to Cloud.
In the Publish With Version field, change the version you want to publish to the cloud if needed.
This field is automatically filled in with the highest version of the Job if several versions are available. You cannot publish a Job smaller than the latest published version shown in the Last Cloud Version field.
Select a workspace from the drop-down list.
Optional: Select Export Artifact Screenshot to include a screenshot of the Job.
Click Finish.
An information bar shows the progress of the deployment.
Optional: Click Run in Background to continue working in Talend Studio while the Artifact is being published.
A progress bar is displayed in the bottom-right corner of Talend Studio to show the percentage of the publishing operation completed. Click the progress bar icon to display the details in the Progress view.
When the publication process is finished, click Continue with Talend Management Console.
Talend Management Console opens on the Operations page.
Click Management in the main menu.
Open the Artifacts tab to find the artifact published from Talend Studio, named Video_Viewers_Watch_Results_Log_Filter.
Click the artifact name to open its details page.
