Browser Extension for Definition Lookup
The MM Browser Extension enables users to access and understand standardized organizational terminology seamlessly within any Chromium Browser environment. This tool is designed to aid analysts, managers, and team members by providing quick, in-context access to glossary definitions, ensuring consistent terminology use across reports, documents, and presentations without interrupting their workflow.
Key features include:
Glossary Definition Access - Use the toolbar extension button to look up any term by typing in its name. This allows users to access the MM glossary directly, simplifying the process of finding precise definitions. One may also simply highlight any word or phrase representing the name of a term or abbreviation on a page and press the toolbar button to view its glossary definition.
In-Line Lookup – With the extension installed in the browser, you may double-click on any term or recognized abbreviation to instantly view its glossary definition. This feature helps users stay focused by providing immediate, in-line clarification without navigating away from the page. This feature is optional and should be enabled by the user when the lookup time is reasonable. The user can configure the Extension to use a key and Double-click combination to show the pop-up.
