Cloud/IaaS Load Balancer or API Gateway

To achieve high availability and load balancing of your real-time services a third-party Load Balancer or API Gateway is required. As with other third-party components in the physical architecture, Talend recommends the use of services from Cloud/IaaS providers for this purpose. API Gateways provide additional benefits such as security and dicoverability for your services. For more information on using Talend with an API Gateway, see Working with API gateways.

The key point illustrated on the diagram is that all access to your APIs will be via the Load Balancer or API Gateway.
