Managing components connection color

Talend Studio provides simple and rich components connection color mode for Job display in the design workspace. You can also define the color used for each connection type.

About this task

To modify connection color settings, complete the following:

Procedure

  1. Click Window > Preferences > Talend > Appearence > Designer > Colors to open the Colors view.

    In the Connection Color area, the colors used for different connection types in Simple and Rich mode are shown.

    You can also click Designer color settings on the toolbar of Talend Studio to open the Appearance wizard and click Define custom colors to open the Preferences window.

  2. Select Simple or Rich mode as needed.
  3. To set a custom color for a specific connection type, click the corresponding color button to show the Colors dialog box and select a color of your choice.
  4. Click Apply and Close to save your changes.
    Information noteNote: The connection color settings are applied for the current user only.
