Exporting user-defined indicators to Talend Exchange

You can export user-defined indicators from your current Talend Studio to Talend Exchange where you can share them with other users.

The exported indicators are saved as .xmi files on the exchange server.

Before you begin

At least one user-defined indicator is created in the Profiling perspective of Talend Studio.

In the DQ Repository tree view, expand Libraries > Indicators.
Right-click the User Defined Indicator folder and select Export for Talend Exchange.

The Export for Talend Exchange wizard is displayed.
Browse to the folder where to save indicators.
Select the check boxes of the indicators you want to export to the specified folder.
Select the Browse check box to list only the indicators you want to export.
Click Finish.
The .xmi file of each selected indicator is saved as a zip file in the defined folder.
Upload the zip files to Talend Exchange at https://exchange.talend.com/. Please create an account on the Talend Exchange server if you do not have one already.
