Deleting or restoring a report

Prerequisite(s):A report is created in the Profiling perspective of the studio.

To delete a report, do the following:

1. In the DQ Repository tree view, expand Data Profiling > Reports.

2. Right-click the report you want to delete and select Delete from the contextual menu.

   

   The report is moved to the Recycle Bin.

To delete it permanently from the Recycle Bin, do the following:

1. Right-click it in the Recycle Bin and choose Delete from the contextual menu.

   A Delete forever dialog box is displayed.

2. Click Yes to confirm the operation and close the dialog box.

   Information noteNote: You can also delete the report permanently if you right-click the Recycle Bin and select Empty recycle bin.

To restore a report from the Recycle Bin, do the following:

1. In the Recycle Bin, right-click the report and select Restore.

   The report is moved back to the Reports node.
