Creating a Password Credential Validator

Procedure

Go to the System tab.
Under External Systems, click Password Credential Validators.
Click Create New Instance.
For the TYPE parameter, select LDAP Username Password Credential Validator and click Next.
In the Instance Configuration page, enter a search base and search filter.
The search base must correspond to the users stored in the LDAP directory.
The search filter must store the Active Directory login name to the username variable.
Click Next to open the Extended Contract tab.
Under Extend the contract, add the first name and last name of the user from Active Directory.
Click Next to open the Summary tab.
Verify the information on the Summary tab and click Done.
