How to duplicate a migration rule

About this task

To avoid creating a new rule from scratch, you can duplicate an existing one and work around its metadata to have a new rule in the list.

To duplicate a rule:

On the Rules page, select the rule you want to duplicate.
On the toolbar, click Duplicate. The configuration panel to the right shows the metadata of the selected rule.
Modify the metadata as required in order to create a new rule.

Information noteWarning: If you click on any of the rules in the list before finalizing the creation or modification of the current rule, a dialog box prompts you to save the parameters in the configuration panel before switching to another rule. Click Cancel to return to the configuration panel and save the parameters.
Click Save to validate the operation or Cancel to cancel it.

The new rule is listed in the trigger list.
