Glossary import from a .csv file: import fails Importing a glossary from .csv files created a category and failed to set the attributes on the glossary, such as status. As these attributes are not applicable to a category, the import failed to insert the newly created category ID into the object cache for the subsequent term parent lookup.

The fix separates the create and set attributes logic in the create function. Now, the category ID is inserted to the cache regardless of whether the set attributes process succeeded or not.

Security vulnerability - Log4j2 The latest Talend Data Catalog cumulative patches and installation builds including Apache Log4j version 2.17.1 are now available.
  • You must apply TDC-bridges-CumulativePatch-7.3-20220105.zip or newer and TDC-CumulativePatch-7.3-20220105.zip or newer to your installation and all harvesting servers.
  • For the application, you must:
    • stop the application server.
    • download TDC-7.3-20220105.zip or newer.
    • copy the new tomcat/lib/log4j-_2.17.1.jar files from the downloaded build to your installation directory.
    • delete the older tomcat/lib/log4j-_2.1x_.jar files from your installation directory.
    • restart the application server.
