Opening a data record in the Talend Data Stewardship

Talend Data Stewardship can be integrated with Talend MDM and then be used to handle the merging tasks generated during the integrated matching process. For further information about the merging tasks, see the Talend Data Stewardship Documentation.

After the integrated matching process, an Open Task option is available for the data records associated with the relevant merging task. This option enables dedicated users to access the Talend Data Stewardship and view the details of the relevant merging task.

Information noteNote: If the status of a golden record is 205 after the match and survivorship process, the Open Task option is not available for the golden record and its source staging data records.

If needed, you can click Govern > Data Stewardship on the Menu pane to access the homepage of the Talend Data Stewardship web application directly.

Before you begin

  • The integration of Talend Data Stewardship with MDM is enabled and configured appropriately.

  • The MDM server is already launched.

  • You have been assigned an MDM role with the appropriate user authorization and access rights.

  • You can log in to Talend Data Stewardship using credentials which have access rights to the task.
