Generic properties of an MDM audit event

Once the audit capability in MDM are enabled and configured, you can access the log service platform and check the audit events.

The information in an audit event varies depending on the type of the audit event.

The following table lists generic properties of an audit event when a new data model is deployed to an MDM server successfully:

application

Name of the application that logs audit events.

category

Category that the audit event belongs to (security or activity).

customInfo.itemName

Name of the deployed data model.

customInfo.itemDescription

One or more descriptions of the deployed data model.

customInfo.itemSchema

Schema of the deployed data model.

user

Operator of the audit event.

operation

Specific operations of the audit event.

resource

Resources (for example, data models, or views) on which the operation is performed.

host

Host of the instance.

instance

Name of the instance of the application that logs audit events.

logSource.host.address

Address of the host from which the audit event originates.

logSource.host.name

Name of the host from which the audit event originates.

logSource.logger.name

Name of the logger that is used to distinguish between audit events and all other events.

message

Operation result of the audit event.
