Managing LDAP users

Availability-noteDeprecated

Talend DQ Portal enables administrators to read user information from an LDIF template, which is a text file that defines roles and users or group of users.

Administrators can use an external application, OpenLDAP for example, to set their connection to an LDAP server and manage users from the server.

The prerequisite to be able to manage LDAP users is to activate LDAP during the installation of Talend DQ Portal. For more information on LDAP configuration, see the Talend Installation and Upgrade Guide.
