Changing the parameters for local CSV files

When adding a new dataset from a local .csv file, you have the possibility to configure the escape and text enclosure characters, and the field delimiter.

Procedure

  1. Open the dataset for which you want to change the field delimiter, escape or text enclosure characters.
  2. Click the cog icon to open the Dataset parameters dialog box.
  3. In the Field delimiter, Text enclosure character and Escape character fields, enter the characters that corresponds to your dataset.
  4. Click the Confirm button.

Results

The dataset reloads and the new characters are applied.
