Installing EDI specifications

You can install the specifications from the Feature Manager in the Help menu.

Procedure

  1. In Talend Studio, click Help > Feature Manager.
  2. Expand the Data Mapper > Standard nodes.
  3. Select the specifications that you want to install and click Next.
  4. Review and accept the terms of the license agreement, then click Install.

Results

Once the installation is completed, you are prompted to restart Talend Studio. After restarting, the specifications are installed and you can find them in the Hierarchical Mapper, under Other Projects.
Information noteNote: If you use these structures in a Job that is executed using Continuous Integration, you need to install the corresponding specifications in your CI workspace in Talend CommandLine. For more information, see the Talend Software Development Life Cycle Best Practices Guide.
