I set up Talend Cloud through Snowflake Partner Connect

If you set up Talend Cloud through Snowflake Partner Connect and have the read rights on the table, try to use the default role PC_TALEND_ROLE.

1. Confirm that PC_TALEND_ROLE has the read rights on the table.
2. If the role has the read rights:
   1. In Talend Cloud Data Inventory, click Connections.
   2. Hover over the connection name and click the Edit connection icon.

      

   3. In the JDBC URL field, replace your role by &role=PC_TALEND_ROLE.

      

      Here is an example of the URL structure containing the correct role:

      jdbc:snowflake://account.snowflakecomputing.com/?db=MY_DB&schema=PUBLIC&warehouse=MY_WAREHOUSE_WH&role=PC_TALEND_ROLE 

   4. Click Validate. The Talend Trust Score™ can be calculated.
3. If the role has no read rights:
   • Ask your admin.
   • Follow the procedure I did not set up Talend Cloud through Snowflake Partner Connect.
