Creating the target table

If the target table was not created beforehand in the target database, you have the possibility to create it automatically in the Manager.

1. Click the Create target table button.
   Information noteNote: If this button is not displayed, it means your target table was already created before in the target database.

   

   The screen displayed contains the script used to create the file.
   This script depends on the target database type.

   Type of target database	Type of screen displayed
   NT	The script is of SQL type only:
   AS/400 IBMi	The script is of AS/400 IBMi type:

   Information noteWarning: We strongly recommend to check the script, and in particular the data types, as your target database format may not correspond to the default script that is displayed.
2. If necessary, you can modify this script:
   • by directly editing the script that is displayed in the Manager,
   • or by using any external tool to execute it and edit.
3. When your changes are complete, click Execute to run the script and create the table in the target database.
