Using Scripts to Call MetaServlet Actions

About this task

To launch the metaServlet and read help information about scripts for calling MetaServlet actions in the Windows command line/Linux terminal:

Open the Windows command line or Linux terminal, and go to the following directory: ./org.talend.administrator/WEB-INF/classes.
Run:
- MetaServletCaller.bat to call the metaServlet on Windows.
- MetaServletCaller.sh to call the metaServlet on Linux.
To perform a MetaServlet action, type in the corresponding scripts in the command line (or terminal for Linux users).
For example, to delete an existing user named test@test.com from Talend Administration Center, you will need to use following script to perform the action:

MetaServletCaller.bat 
--tac-url=http://localhost:8080/org.talend.administrator 
--json-params=
{
"actionName":"deleteUser",
"authPass":"TAC_Admin_password",
"authUser":"TAC_Admin_username",
"userLogin":"test@test.com"
}
```
Once the command has been executed, user test@test.com is deleted:
