Updating your license using the CommandLine

Information noteWarning: This feature has been removed from Talend Administration Center 8.0 onwards. For more information, see Updating your license using the CommandLine in Talend Studio User Guide.

Before you begin, you have downloaded the license file to the local Nexus server.

Procedure

  1. Launch your CommandLine. For more information on how to launch the CommandLine, see Operating modes.
  2. Run the following command to connect to your repository: 
    initRemote {tac_url} -ul {TAC login username} -up {TAC login password}
  3. Run the following command to update the license: 
    checkAndUpdate -tu checkAndUpdate -tu {TAC login username} -tup {TAC login password}
    The CommandLine updates the license, downloads and applies the available patch, if necessary, and automatically restarts.
