Editing extensions

You can edit extensions that you have update rights to. Do the following:

1. Select Extensions on the QMC start page or from the StartS drop-down menu to display the overview.

2. Select the extension or extensions that you want to edit.

3. Click Edit in the action bar.

4. Edit the properties.

   Tip note You can display or hide property groups using the panel to the far right.
Identification

Property	Description
Name	The name of the extension is obtained from the file name of the extension definition file (.qext) in the uploaded zip file and cannot be modified.
Owner	The user name of the owner of the extension. Information noteThis property is only visible when editing an extension.

Tags

The Tags property group contains the available QMC tags in the Qlik Sense system.

Property	Description
Tags	Tip noteIf no QMC tags are available, this property group is empty. Connected QMC tags are displayed under the text box.

5. Click Apply in the action bar.

   Successfully updated is displayed at the bottom of the page.

You have now edited an extension or extensions.
