Installing your connector

You are now ready to install your connector.

Do the following:

1. Create a new folder with the same name as your connector (for example, QvEventLogConnector) in the Custom Data folder of QlikView or the Connectors folder of Qlik Sense. If the Custom Data or Connectors folder does not exist, you need to create it as well.
   • QlikView 11.20 or earlier: C:\Program Files\Common Files\QlikTech\Custom Data\QvEventLogConnector
   • Qlik Sense Enterprise: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Qlik\Custom Data\QvEventLogConnector
   • Qlik Sense Desktop: C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Local\Programs\Common Files\Qlik\Custom Data\QvEventLogConnector
2. Copy the following files into the newly created folder:
   • <Solution Path>\QvEventLogConnector\bin\Release\QvxLibrary.dll
   • <Solution Path>\QvEventLogConnector\bin\Release\QvEventLogConnector.exe

   If you are installing the connector in Qlik Sense, you also need to copy the folder: <Solution Path>\QvEventLogConnector\bin\Release\web

The connector is now ready to use.
