App links in QMC

Apps in the QMC now have links. Clicking a link opens the app in the hub if you have the required access rights.

If needed, you can turn off the App links feature with the QmcOpenAppInHub flag in the configuration file located at C:\Program Files\Qlik\Sense\CapabilityService\capabilities.json.

The app links in QMC use empty prefixes on the virtual proxy. In other words, usage of prefix is not enabled and the link will always open the app in the hub without prefix.

Install or upgrade PostgreSQL using the Qlik PostgreSQL Installer

Use the Qlik PostgreSQL Installer to install or upgrade the bundled PostgreSQL database used by Qlik Sense. The installer can be used when installing a new database on PostgreSQL 12.5, or when upgrading an existing bundled database from PostgreSQL 9.6 to PostgreSQL 12.5.

Persist custom configuration files during silent upgrades

Support to persist custom configuration files was added in the Nov 2022 release for UI upgrades. From this release the same support exists for silent upgrades.
