Adding tables into a model
You can distribute the same table in the same model several times to operate multiples actions for one transaction.
A sequence number will indicate the order of the actions.
It is thus possible, for example when a change occurs in the customer table on the source database, to modify the same items in the Customer target table, update the customer name in a another table and then insert the items in a log table.
For an AS/400 IBMi source, if the model is BACKUP or JOURNAL, you can add only physical files.
Physical files must be journalized in the journal specified in the model properties.
For the other source, you can add tables of the database or schema specified in the model properties.
If the table is not journalized for Talend Change Data Capture, it will be done automatically.
If the model is an EXTRACT model for AS/400 IBMi source, you can add any physical or logical file in any library.
For the other sources, you can add any tables in the database or schema (for Oracle for example) specified in the model properties.
