Configuring build settings

You can configure whether to allow using recursive Jobs and Joblets when building Jobs.

Information noteWarning: This feature is kept only for compatibility reasons. Using recursive Jobs and Joblets is not supported any more for new projects from Talend 8.0 onwards, as they are likely to cause performance issues when building Jobs.

Procedure

  1. Click File > Edit Project properties from the menu bar, and in the Project Settings dialog box displayed, click Build on the tree view to open the corresponding view.
  2. Select the Allow recursive Jobs and Joblets check box if you want to use recursive Jobs and Joblets.
    • For a newly created project, the Allow recursive Jobs and Joblets check box is cleared by default.
    • For a project migrated from any previous version, the Allow recursive Jobs and Joblets check box is selected by default for compatibility reasons.
  3. Click Apply and Close to save your changes.
