Deleting Remote Engines

When you no longer need a Remote Engine, you can remove it from Talend Management Console as well as uninstall it from your local machine.

When you delete an engine or an engine cluster, if this engine or cluster already has multi-trigger tasks or plans assigned to it before this deletion, all those tasks or plans are automatically paused and assigned to a Cloud Engine, and the circumstances of this pause are systematically added to the pause details.

Before you begin

  • You must have Infrastructure Administrator role in Talend Management Console.

About this task

When you delete a Remote Engine, the tasks scheduled on the engine stop, and all tasks will revert to the default execution and configuration settings.

Procedure

  1. Open the Processing page then click the Engines tab.
  2. Select the environment of the engine from the Environment drop-down-list.
You can also use the search box and the filter options to filter the list.
  3. Hover over the name of the Remote Engine you want to remove and click the icon.
  4. Confirm the deletion in the pop-up window.
