Feature Description
Dynamic Engine and Dynamic Engine environment The Dynamic Engine solution, previously in public Beta and a key milestone in server containerization, has been generally available.

Talend Management Console and Dynamic Engine solution provides SaaS capabilities and experience on customer-managed infrastructure.

Dynamic Engine serves as a unique infrastructure to simplify task executions, concealing the complexity of classic engines.

You can create and manage your Dynamic Engines from the new Dynamic Engine tab in the Processing page.
You can create and manage the environments dedicated to your Dynamic Engine instances from the new Dynamic Engine Environments tab in the Environments page.

Your tasks and plans can be processed in a Dynamic Engine infrastructure by the services set up in an associated environment. Only data integration and big data Job tasks are supported.

To automate the management of Dynamic Engine instances and their environments, specific API endpoints have been created. For further information about the endpoints, see:
Run profiles
You can now create and select run profiles for Dynamic Engine environment tasks.
Creation of a run profile.

You manage the run profiles from the Run profiles tab in the Processing page.

Assigning multiple environments to a Dynamic Engine
You can now assign multiple environments to a Dynamic Engine:
  • from the list of Dynamic Engines,
  • from the details page of a Dynamic Engine, or
  • when creating a Dynamic Engine.
