Field concatenator properties

Properties to configure to concatenate your input fields.

Information noteNote: The properties listed in this section are the default properties for all functions of this processor. Additional properties may need to be defined depending on the function you have selected.

Property Configuration
Function name Concatenate with value/another field: Select this function to merge the content of this field with another field or a custom value, and display it in a new field.
Fields to process Select the field or fields on which you want to apply a function in the list.
Information noteTip: If you want to apply the same function to multiple fields at once, click the Open dialog icon to open a tree view that allows you to select multiple fields.
Create new column Enable this option to create a new column after applying the function. If you do not enable this option, the existing column will be kept and modified.
Rename new column Give a custom name to the newly created field.
Prefix (optional) Add a prefix to the value of the output field.
Use with
  • Other column: select this option in the list to concatenate the field to process with another field.
  • Value: select this option in the list to concatenate the field to process with the custom value of your choice.
Column Select the field that will be concatenated with the field you have selected as Field to process.
Separator Type in the separator you want to use when combining the two fields/values. If left empty, no separator will be used.
Add separator
  • Both values are empty: select this option to add a separator only when both fields/values are not empty.
  • Always: select this option to add a separator to all combined fields/values.
Suffix (optional) Add a suffix to the value of the output field.

Enter a description for the processor.

To rename the processor, click the Rename Rename icon next to the default name of the processor.
