Searching from the welcome page

You can perform a full-text search across a selected data container directly from the welcome page. Unlike a search performed from the Data Browser, this type of search does not require the creation of a view in the Talend Studio.

About this task

To perform a full-text search from the welcome page, do the following:

Procedure

  1. On the welcome page, type the search keyword in the search box, and then click the Search button.

    Example

    A search page displays the results of your search, sorted by relevance.

  2. To open a specific record, click its heading in the list of results.
