Installing Talend Data Stewardship using Talend Installer

About this task

If you have selected Talend Data Stewardship earlier in the Installer, you are now prompted to configure the application.

Procedure

  1. Select the Apache Tomcat server you want to use to install Talend Data Stewardship. By default the embedded Tomcat server is selected.
  2. Enter the Client ID and the Client Secret you generated in Talend Management Console. For more information, see Configuring hybrid in Talend Management Console.
  3. Configure the MongoDB instance. By default the embedded MongoDB instance is selected.
  4. Configure the Kafka instance. By default the embedded Kafka and ZooKeeper instances are selected.
Information noteWarning: In a production environment, using the embedded Kafka instance on Windows is not recommended. Instead, you can use a Linux host with a Kafka instance installed on it and enter its parameters under external Kafka configuration.
  5. Click Next to start the installation or to configure Talend Data Preparation.

Results

Talend Data Stewardship is configured and ready to be automatically installed.
