Exporting campaigns

You can export one or more campaigns from your source environment so that they are ready to be imported into the target environment.

Procedure

  1. Log in as a campaign owner, or make sure the role assigned to you has permissions to add and manage data models and campaigns.
  2. Select Campaigns to open the list of the campaigns created in the current environment.
  3. Select the Select All check box to export all the campaigns listed in the page, or select the check boxes next to the campaigns you want to export.
  4. Click Export campaign.
  5. In the open dialog box, click OK to save a local copy of the campaigns in a JSON file.
The JSON file is saved on your local system with a name following the below templates whether you export several campaigns or one respectively:
    • <number of exported campaigns>_Campaigns_<export_timestamp>.
    • <campaign label>_<export_timestamp>.

The export date and time are in the format YYYY-MM-DD HH:mm:ss-000.

Results

The campaigns are exported in a JSON file with all their metadata and parameter values. You can now import the file into the target environment.
