Exporting data models

You can export one or more data models from your source environment so that they are ready to be imported into the target environment.

The source and target environments should belong to the same product version.

Procedure

  1. Log in as a campaign owner.
  2. Select Data models to open the list of the models created in the current environment.
  3. Select the Select all check box to export all the data models listed in the page, or select the check boxes next to the data models you want to export.
  4. Click Export data model.
  5. In the open dialog box, click OK to save a local copy of the data models in a .json file.
The .json file is saved on your local system with a name following the below templates whether you export several models or one respectively:
    • <number of exported models>_Data_Models_<export_timestamp>.
    • <data model label>_<export_timestamp>.

The export date and time are in the format YYYY-MM-DD HH:mm:ss-000.

Results

The data models are exported in a .json file with all their metadata and parameter values. You can now import the file into the target environment or subsequent releases.
