Unlocking distributed certificates

Proceed as follows to unlock distributed certificates:

1. Open the Qlik Management Console (QMC) on the node where the master Qlik Sense Repository Service (QRS) is running.
2. Add a new node. When a node does not have an authorized certificate, information on how to access the node and a password are displayed in the QMC.
3. Access the new node, either physically or by using a remote desktop connection. Then open a web browser and enter the URL and port provided in the QMC.
4. On the resulting web page, enter the password provided in the QMC.

1. A message that indicates if the operation was successful or not is displayed.

You can now check if the certificates are properly set up on the nodes that run the additional Qlik Sense services by running the Microsoft Management Console (MMC) from the Start menu.
