Moving data to Qlik Open Lakehouse

Qlik Open Lakehouse is a fully managed, Apache Iceberg-based service within Qlik Talend Cloud. It enables enterprises to build scalable, high-performing lakehouses directly in their AWS environments.

You can set up a Replicate task to move data from any supported source to Qlik Open Lakehouse, where it will be stored in query-ready Iceberg tables.

To do this, you need to:

  • Set up Qlik Open Lakehouse and create a Qlik Open Lakehouse project. For instructions, see Setting up Qlik Open Lakehouse.

For instructions on creating a Qlik Open Lakehouse project, see Creating a Qlik Open Lakehouse project.

  • Set up two tasks:

    • A Replicate task that moves data from any supported source to Amazon S3 (using the Amazon S3 target endpoint).

    • An onboarding task in Qlik Talend Data Integration that ingests data from the Replicate target S3 bucket to Qlik Open Lakehouse.

For instructions on setting up both of these tasks, see Onboarding data from Qlik Replicate.
