Qlik Associative Big Data Index

With Qlik Associative Big Data Index you can achieve the full Qlik Sense associative experience with your big data, and explore it in context with your in-memory data. The index is optimized for speed and associative queries, and can be distributed across a cluster to provide scalability.

You create the index by preparing data that is imported from your data lake with specific connectors.

You can access the big data index in several ways:

  • QABDI live mode, where you can query the big data index.
  • Extracting data from the big data index using QSL (Qlik Selection Language) in your data load script.

  • Creating on-demand apps (ODAG), where you can create a selection app based on data from the big data index.
