Campaign

An unit of work that contains all the required configuration assets determined by the campaign owner. They define what the tasks are about, what data stewards need to do to resolve the campaign task, which data stewards work on the campaign tasks, and how data stewards collaborate to resolve the campaign tasks. There are several campaign types:
  • Merging campaign: a merging campaign enables data stewards to merge several potential duplicate data records into one single master record.
  • Resolution campaign: a resolution campaign enables data stewards to correct any anomalies in data records such as invalid or missing values.
  • Grouping campaign: a grouping campaign defines a list of possible arbitration choices for pairs or groups of records. The outcome of a grouping task is the choice made by data stewards on the group of records.
  • Arbitration campaign: an arbitration campaign defines a list of possible arbitration choices on tasks. The outcome of it is the arbitration choice made by data stewards.
