Adding the custom parameters

You must configure your application by adding two required custom parameters.

Procedure

  1. Go back to the application configuration, and navigate to the Parameters tab.
  2. Click the + button to add the TalendCloudDomainName parameter:
    1. Enter TalendCloudDomainName in the Field name.
    2. Select the Include in SAML assertion check box in the Flags section, then click Save.

    3. In the Edit Field TalendCloudDomainName pop-up window, select Macro from the Value drop-down list.
    4. Enter your domain name in the input field below, then click Save.
      • If you already logged in Talend Cloud, find the domain name in the Domain field of the Subscription page of your Talend Management Console.
      • Otherwise, three options are available for you to find your domain. For more details, see Find domains.

    5. Click Save.
    The custom parameter is added to the list.

    This image is for demonstration purposes only. You can also add parameters such as a middle name, or CustomerRoles.

    The CustomerRoles parameter is required when you need to set up SCIM provisioning to synchronize users, groups, and roles between your SSO provider and Talend Cloud.   3. Click the + button to add the NameId Format parameter:
    1. Enter NameId Format in the Field name.
    2. Select the Include in SAML assertion check box in the Flags section, then click Save.
    3. In the Edit Field NameId Format pop-up window, select Email from the Value drop-down list.
    4. Click Save.
    The custom parameter is added to the list.
