Available in

Support of Spark Universal 3.1.x in Local mode You can now run your Spark Jobs using Spark Universal with Spark 3.1.x in Local mode. You can configure it either in the Spark Configuration view of your Spark Jobs or in the Hadoop Cluster Connection metadata wizard.

When you select this mode, Talend Studio builds the Spark environment in itself at runtime to run the Job locally in Talend Studio.

Support of Databricks 8.0 and onwards with interactive clusters only on Spark Universal 3.1.x
You can now run your Spark Jobs on an interactive Databricks cluster using Spark Universal with Spark 3.1.x. You can configure it either in the Spark Configuration view of your Spark Jobs or in the Hadoop Cluster Connection metadata wizard.

When you select this mode, Talend Studio is compatible with Databricks 8.0 and onwards versions.

Support of Google Dataproc 2.0.x on Spark Universal 3.1.x
You can now run your Spark Jobs on a Google Dataproc cluster using Spark Universal with Spark 3.1.x. You can configure it in the Spark Configuration view of your Spark Jobs.

When you select this mode, Talend Studio is compatible with Dataproc 2.0.x version.

Support of Atlas URI connection and X.509 authentication in MongoDB metadata You can now set the following parameters during the creation of MongoDB connection metadata with MongoDB 4.4.x and later versions:
  • Use connection string to establish the connection using MongoDB Atlas URIs.
  • X509 option from the Authentication mechanism drop-down list to authenticate using X.509 certificates.

New components to read and write data on Amazon DocumentDB in Standard Jobs New components are now available to read and write data on Amazon DocumentDB database in Standard Jobs:
  • tAmazonDocumentDBConnection to create a connection to the Amazon DocumentDB database and reuse that connection in other components.
  • tAmazonDocumentDBInput to retrieve records from a collection in the Amazon DocumentDB database and transfer them to the following component for display or storage.
  • tAmazonDocumentDBOutput to execute the action defined on the collection in the Amazon DocumentDB database.
  • tAmazonDocumentDBClose to close a connection to the Amazon DocumentDB database.
