Talend Data Authoring for MDM enhancements
  • Talend Data Authoring for MDM now supports updating read-only fields through a Before Saving process when the Run the process with admin permissions check box in the Before Saving process editor is selected in Talend Studio.
  • Talend Data Authoring for MDM now supports entities with composite keys.
  • Talend Data Authoring for MDM now supports displaying elements under the same category on a separate tab.
  • Talend Data Authoring for MDM now supports displaying the foreign key label as the foreign key tab name.
  • Talend Data Authoring for MDM now supports choosing columns to display in the Select columns to display panel, which can be opened by clicking the Open the column chooser button in the upper right corner.
  • Talend Data Authoring for MDM now can persist the last selected view, the displayed columns, the sort status, and the query statement.
  • Talend Data Authoring for MDM now supports multiple languages and it switches language according to the language settings in Talend MDM Web UI.

Talend MDM REST API enhancement
  • A new REST API DELETE /services/rest/system/models/{model} is now available, which allows you to delete a data model by its name.
  • The following two REST APIs now return the default message when invoking a Before Saving process if there is no message defined.
    • POST /services/rest/data/{containerName} for creating a new record in a data container
    • PUT /services/rest/data/{containerName} for completely updating a record in a data container
