Check if a container exists

Checks if a specified system or data container exists.

Information noteNote: Only the Super Admin type users with the administration role have access to this API. For more information about MDM user types, see the related description in Talend Administration Center User Guide.

GET /services/rest/system/containers/{containerName}/isExisting
Parameters
  • containerName: This is a String value which represents the name of the container.
Headers
  • Authorization: Basic Authentication scheme
Response Returns true if the specified container exists, false otherwise.
Status
  • 200 OK: The operation is executed successfully.
  • 401 UNAUTHORIZED: Login fails, invalid username or password.
  • 403 FORBIDDEN: Missing required permission.
  • 500 INTERNAL SERVER ERROR: Other errors.
