Setting a line as header
Last updated: 9/17/2026Talend Data Preparation automatically sets the first row as a header for your dataset.
Information noteNote: This
function is not compatible with Spark Jobs, and S3 exports.
If this first row is not the header in your dataset, you can use the Make as header function to specify the header.
Procedure

In the Functions panel, click the Make as
header function.
Results
The selected row is now the header of the dataset.
