Cleaning the journal

Through their receivers, journals grow in size and take up more space on the SQL-PROD and SQL-BACKUP server disks when it is switched to a production server.

As a consequence, you must clean these receivers routinely.

Talend Change Data Capture integrates a tool (DDJRN.exe) used for the intelligent deletion of the journal receivers that are no longer required. For more information, see Using DDRJN.exe tool.
