Defining customized roles in the QMC

Best practice in Qlik Sense is to define security rules for groups of users. One method of doing this is to use the built-in QMC functionality for defining administrative roles and then assign these roles to users. Another method is to group users into types of users using properties, either properties supplied from directory services or custom properties. Both methods are describe in the following sections.
