バインドは、Webサービスに対するメッセージの転送に関する具体的な仕様を示すトップレベルのWSDLオブジェクトです。バインドは単一のポートタイプを参照します。バインドのストラクチャーは、ポートタイプのストラクチャーに密接に対応します。バインドには、プロトコルに固有の詳細を指定する拡張性エレメントが含まれます(たとえば、SOAP、HTTP、MIMEなど)。サービスの中の各ポートは、単一のバインドを参照します。

バインドを作成するには、デザインワークスペースで空白のエリアを右クリックして、コンテキストメニューで[Add Binding] (バインドを追加)を選択します。新しいバインドを作成したり、既存のバインドを再利用できます。
