# Data APIを管理

Talend Cloud Data Inventoryによって、含まれているデータがアプリケーションまたはビジネスパートナーに消費できるよう、データセットに基づくAPIを簡単に生成できます。また、お使いのデータセットのTalend Trust Scoreも改善されます。

たとえば、Talend Cloud Data Inventoryインターフェイスでのクイック設定後に、Salesforceのようなプラットフォームで直接に、顧客データが含まれているデータセットを消費できます。

データセットのAPIを有効化すると、以下の仕様と制限が伴います。

* JDBC接続から作成されたデータセットのAPIのみを有効化できます。[APIを有効にするための互換性があるデータソース](https://help.qlik.com/talend/ja-JP/data-inventory-user-guide/Cloud/compatible-data-sources-to-enable-api)のリストをご覧ください。
* 出力されるAPIがOData v4に準拠しているため、その標準をサポートする以下のようなアプリケーションによって呼び出すことができます:
  * [SnowflakeデータセットからAPIを有効化してSalesforceで消費](https://help.qlik.com/talend/ja-JP/data-inventory-user-guide/Cloud/enabling-api-from-snowflake-and-consuming-in-salesforce)
  * Power BI
  * Tableau
  * Microsoft Excel (Microsoftデスクトップアプリケーションでのみ)
* 生成されたAPIによって、読み取り専用のアクセス権がデータに付与されます。
* APIエンドポイントをホストするのに使用されるエンジンがデータセットへの接続をホストするエンジンと同じです。Cloud Engine for Designをお使いの場合は、APIにはパフォーマンス制限およびスケーリング制限があります。Cloud Engine for DesignはAPIのデザインおよびテストに最適です。本番稼働用にRemote Engine Gen2をインストールすることをご検討ください。Remote Engine Gen2の使用時のより詳細な設定については、[Data APIの使用をカスタマイズ](https://help.qlik.com/talend/r/ja-JP/Cloud/remote-engine-gen2-quick-start-guide/customizing-data-api-usage)をご覧ください。
* 生成されるAPIには制限されるOData v4式があります。サポートされる式の例は、[APIの呼び出し](https://help.qlik.com/talend/ja-JP/data-inventory-user-guide/Cloud/calling-api)をご覧ください。
* 10MBを超えるblob型のフィールドが含まれているレコードを取得する場合、その値は返されず、空白値に置き換えられます。

情報メモ注: APIが有効になっても、設定をまだ編集できます。編集後に、APIは無効化されて、アップデートされた設定で再有効化されます。
