# REST API Activity Logging

Access via the REST API is logged as Debug level messages, but not the on-line log. Instead it is available as part of the [log files on the application server](https://help.qlik.com/talend/en-US/talend-data-catalog/8.1/Content/user-guide/administration-and-system-management/manage-system-log.htm).
