# Storing migration information of a database

When you migrate the report database, detailed information about this operations is stored in the tdq\_migration table in the data mart.

## Before you begin

You migrated the distant database.

## Procedure

1. In the DQ repository tree view, expand Metadata > DB Connections.
2. In the relevant database connection, expand the report database and then in the Tables folder, right-click the tdq\_migration table and select Preview Table from the contextual menu.

   The migration table displays the following information:
   * ID: the incremented ID for each migration.
   * MIGRATION\_NAME: the migration task name.
   * PREVIOUS\_VERSION: the previous version of the database.
   * UPDATE\_VERSION: the updated version of the database.
   * MIGRATION\_DATE: the migration date and time.
