# Creating a Job to sort customer data

## Procedure

1. In the Integration perspective of Talend Studio, create an empty Job from the Job Designs node in the Repository tree view.

   For further information about how to create a Job, see [What is a Job design?](https://help.qlik.com/talend/en-US/studio-user-guide/8.0/what-is-job-design).
2. Place the following components onto the workspace: tFileInputDelimited, tSortRow and tFileOutputDelimited.

   The tFileInputDelimited component (labeled test file in this example) reads the 20 million customer records from a .txt file generated by tRowGenerator.
3. Connect the components using the Row > Main link.
